Worthless Don Cherry

I didn't watch Don Cherry tonight. Not sure why anyone would. He's a joke, worthless except to laugh at.
Here's original 'Hockey Night in Canada' Don Cherry comment:
"You're running out of lives," he said on his Coach's Corner segment during Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday. "Too many times have you hit guys from behind, so guys right now have you on a list.
"I love you as a guy, and as a player. You play my type of game," Cherry added. "… [But] you're going to be very, very sorry one day because someone is going to cut you in half."
What can you say? One more time it shows his xenophobia. Hey, Cherry, try one on Pronger, will you?

Cherry is indeed a joke. Last night right as I turned on the TV (NHL Center Ice) - Penguins - Panthers Game - Penguins trailing - Sidney "God's Gift to Hockey" Crosby is flying around trying to make something happen for his team. He goes and makes a killer hit on a Panther at about the 10:00 mark of the second period - he leaves his feet before he makes the hit - no penalty, no comment from any commentator on either the home or away telecast.
I'm not bashing Crosby merely pointing out the xenophobia of Cherry and many other Canadian born commentators is indeed out there for all to see.
I hope the Olympic Medalists are:
Gold - United States
Silver - Russia
and Bronze - Sweden...
not that I really think that'll happen but if it did then let's hear Don "bloody" Cherry's rant...
Totally agree, they are going after Ovechkin because they are scared that Canada will loose to Russia in Vancouver. Crosby was #1 by Sporting News, what a joke. He is not even the best in his own team. But the poll was conducted among Canadians, what can you say.
