The fight between 4 players of each team broke out in the third period of the game HC MVD - Magnitogorsk (2:0). Magnitogorsk forwards Sergei and Fedor Fedorov and MVD Roman Derlyuk (defenseman) and Matt Ellison (forward) got into the skirmish.

After the referee's intervention the players, who took part in a brawl, were fined with Fedor Fedorov receiving 35 penalty minutes, his brother Sergei - 25 minutes. Derlyuk was penalized for 14 minutes and Ellison for 10 minutes.

Canadians should be beware of Sergei Fedorov in Vancouver, he trained under Fedor Emelianenko in mixed martial arts this summer. :-) I think even Brashear won't be able to stop him now. :-)
