NHL sneak preview of Great Eight dvd

Alex Ovechkin with this sneak peak from the dvd...

Alex says: это место... это священная площадка александра овечкина [this place... is a sacred site of Alexander Ovechkin]

was translated as "This is a hockey birthplace of Alexander Ovechkin"

And I was right, they did go to his dacha...

Alyonka, Aug. 7, 2010:

Big dinner to keep me fueled for tomorrows big day of interviews with the Ovechkin clan...

The tattoo on his ribs for Sergey warms my heart. How I wish he was here to see his brother's success, even though he's watching from Above.

Those are some of the best shots of his tats that I've seen.

Also, I think this DVD will be great. Ovi sounds so relaxed, much more laid back than in his typical English media interviews.

The DVD should be awesome based on the previews. The DVD is worth the price just for all the shirtless Ovie views alone LOL.

@BobbyG: We're definitely on the same page there ;-) Between this DVD and the HBO special, I will never leave my couch after Christmas.

@jimie:

That's what I was wondering.

The tattoos are ugly. The sentiment behind them is worth more than the bad taste displayed.

Why under the arm? I still say the latest one looks like a bad fungus growing on his side.

Kind of OT but...

...Sasha speaking English. This was just posted on caps blog, from 2009?

Semin talks at the end!!! He's so cute. I think I just died, but it's okay, because if I did- I died happy lol

As for the topic, I will be getting this at some point. :0)

@O,

You could be harsh, but I tend to agree with you... But I don't like any kind of tattoes, on the other hand... :-)

@jimie:

That's definitely behind the scenes work of Damian Cox. He coxed Sid into this DVD.

@TJ,

BTW, Alyonka was just in DC again (a few days ago) doing something hockey related.
