It feels so good to be back in DC and to see Ovie and the Caps again.
Also there was a huge group of kids at Kettler today for a field trip or something. The HBO cameras got some good footage of a lot of the players signing loads of autographs.

@Ovie: the torn shredded jeans don't go with the clean-shaven look. What is it about this sloppy attire that's so appealing to you? Get some new clothes, including tee shirts. PLEASE
@Marge: as usual, whenever I try to copy and paste photo/video links into my Internet browser, I have no luck. Can you suggest how to view your pics, or provide another direct link to your Photobucket album? I'd love to see your photos. I could use some lighthearted and positive reinforcement to keep me going after yet another disappointing Caps game last night.
Yes, I'm disappointed and frustrated with the Caps now. I have no answers for why they have been so inconsistent this season, only my own opinion. I decided not to get carried away with speculation, and instead will stay the course and continue to support them--for the time being. I hope they don't break my heart--AGAIN.

I see the photo of Ovie in his striped cap on this thread below the postgame video. I was finally able to access your Photobucket album by dropping everything after Margefro87 in your original link. The amended one in your subsequent post worked just fine. Thank you!

hm that's weird I open up all my albums on facebook to the public, the only thing private is my profile (work and school and those pesky nosey parents lol)
and I just figured out why you couldn't access the Ovie signing for kids. I uploaded that pic from my phone and apparently that album is blocked. I unblocked it.

well haha uhm. see i'm a photojournalism minor and I love to take pictures...and i mean LOVE to take pictures. I currently have 267 albums of pcitures on facebook and i'd say 230 or so of them are of the Caps. I guess if you want to you certainly are more than welcome to check them out.

It is always subject to change with or without notice, but sometimes updates are given through their Twitter account @washcaps or Nate and Brett might also Tweet practice times.
If the Caps are playing back-to-back, then they often don't practice and morning skates tend to be optional.
If you are not familiar with the area, Kettler Capitals Iceplex is on top of the Ballston Mall parking garage in VA. Take the mall elevator to the 8th floor. The elevator opens on the public rink, walk around the rink to the lobby, the Caps' rink is across the lobby. It is two blocks from the Ballston metrorail stop on the Orange Line.

Has it ever been said who Magomet is and why he seems to be Ovie's shadow these many months?
Ovi introduces him as his friend on his DVD Great Eight. Also there's a mentioning of Magomet in GQ article.
I am glad he is in US because there are pogroms in Moscow right now, if you look mediterranean, avoid travelling to Moscow.

Unfortunately, I wont be in DC in time for the practice. We're coming to Washington on a planned hockey trip and we'll be there by 1PM and we're leaving the next day at 10AM for NYC. Would you happen to know if there is any other way I could meet him?!
PS: TJ, I'm glad the blog is back online, I don't comment a lot, but I visit really often and I misseed my Ovie-updates :P
