Capital One/Alex Ovechkin Launch Hockey Playoffs With New TV Commercial
With the NHL Playoffs starting this Wednesday, Capital One is premiering a new "Slapshot Locations" commercial starring Washington Capital Alex Ovechkin on Monday evening at 6:00 PM ESTon Capital One's facebook page.
In the 30-second spot, Ovie stands high atop a building overlooking Washington, D.C. and takes slapshots towards Capital One branch locations throughout the DC Metro area.

I'm very glad that Ovechkin still says, "What's in your wallet?" the same way as he did in the previous Capital One commercial.
Hilarious commercial, though I personally laughed more at the dentist sign than I did with the penguin.
"sorry penguin" best! the knocking out of the tooth then him smiling made me giggle.
I love both Ovie's gap-tooth smile and "Sorry penguin" line equally. Let's hope Ovie gets to do some real Penguin bashing in the playoffs.
It's the eve of game 1 Caps vs. Rangers and I have a feeling of nervous anxiety and anticipation. Will the Caps achieve redemption at last, or will it be deja vu all over again? As Ovie said in the 2010-2011 season preview "Questions will become answers." Stay tuned.
