Caps are on the brink of a sweep
Ovi was awesome in the second period, but the team didn't follow him. Boudreau's trap was inferior to Boucher's and Caps went down hard.
Caps are now down 3:0 in the series... Like I said about Tampa when they defeated Caps in the regular season game in January, "Tampa will go deep in playoffs because they are built for playoffs, no question about it...." I was hoping it wouldn't be at Caps expense... :-(
Sure, Caps can win 4 games in a row, but not against the trap team like Tampa Bays is. "Screwed" is the right word. "There's always a next season," is another expression... haha :-( A lot of questions will have to be answered after and BB might have to go... Sad...

First, I forgot to say this yesterday. TJ, welcome back, I just wish it was under much better circumstances. I hope you had a great time on your rafting trip to help you relax, especially now in these difficult times with the Caps.
It is sad, very sad. I thought the Caps overcoming so much adversity in the regular seasom would carry them to a deep playoff run. It seems the Bolts will to win is stronger than the Caps. Why aren't Ovie's teammates following his lead? Is it a matter of setting a goal to not get ousted in the first round like last year, and having done that they go back to bad habits that got them in trouble before?
Coming back from 3 game deficit to win the series isn't impossible. But unless they solve the Bolts trap, unless they dig down deep with all the effort and resolve they have and not hold back...I don't know, this team is so frustrating it hurts.
