Kadar and Malkin in Moscow

Penguins strength and conditioning coach Mike Kadar is in Moscow training star forward Evgeni Malkin. Kadar was kind enough to send back some footage of their work out sessions for www.PittsburghPenguins.com.

Can we collect some money to send Mark Nemish and Mike Vogel to Moscow? :-) There's a button down there at the bottom. :-)

I think we should give Ovi a break. In his entire professional career (and probably in his younger days as well) he has come to training camp out of shape once--last year. He admitted it and wasn't happy about it. (And let's not forget he trained with a new trainer who also trained Kovy, and Kovy was horrible at the beginning of last season.) Ovi is highly competitive and wants to do well. Personally, I'm going to let him come to training camp and see what he is able to do at that point, and during the season.

Ok, enough with Geno.
Now, we want to see Ovie ;)

Is this the Malkin blog? Who cares about him. Just when I was getting all hot and bothered looking at pictures of Ovi, I scroll down and see Malkin's ugly mug and it's like taking a cold shower.

LOL, sorry... but see, everything is by comparison :)

This "training" is really lame. Anybody who plays hockey knows bouncing a ball on your stick is the easiest/most useless thing to do. Also, he screwed up every one of those toe drags.
