Alex Ovechkin girlfriend?

In other news, I think Galiev spilled some beans on Ovi's girlfriend situation in this article......

Ovechkin has his own clothing line, a girlfriend he met on a Russian dating site, and a knack for dead-panning in funny TV commercials. He is also extraordinarily talented at video games.
"Every night we go out together and then come back and play FIFA soccer on a Sony PlaySation,'' Galiev said. "We always play two to a team, with me and Dmitry (Orlov) on the same side.
"The first three times we played Alex and his teammate, we beat them."
Then Ovechkin challenged them to another game, with the winner buying dinner. Picture a mongoose inviting a cobra to supper.
Ovechkin easily won his dinner.
"He wanted to go to a steakhouse,'' Galiev said. "Not Subway."

I can't believe none of them can cook though, do they all live with mommy? I can come and cook for them free of charge, lol.
I think that cooking scene is 5 years old. I've heard Ovi can make BBQ nowadays.
"To be disciplined and not to do stupid stuff." If this new, then he is not fallowing his own advice because asking DJ Pauly to make him a hair do is the must stupid thing he has ever done even if it was only a joke.
If he still with Lera, did anyone see her at practice, or some other places? she wasn,t a good luck for him last season.... Is OVI changing? and hair like DJ Pauly..... common, be finally serious Alex..
The story about an online dating service and wagering on a video game sounds like it's about 3-4 years old, around the time Ovie met Katja. I don't recall seeing recent photos of him with any specific female other than 2 brunettes--with one of his exes Anna at the movie premiere and the "fitness trainer" at the Imperia Lounge earlier this summer. IIRC there were also a couple of unnamed blondes in restaurants, one of which was in the scene where Ovie was smoking a hookah pipe.
BobbyG, the stuff about wagering on the FIFA games is true, Galiev's been posting about it on his twitter the past few weeks.
I seriously doubt that right now Ovi has time fro dating websites. What does he need it for?! Haha...
@AB: OK the FIFA wagering might still be going on. Maybe Galiev is relating anecdotes from both the past and immediate present. The other parts of the story sound more like past events.
To clarify, what I meant to say was: the parts of the story that sound like past events are not quotes from Galiev. They are insertions into the story by the writer of the article.

@previous Anonymous: it seems the writer is either playing fast and loose with the facts, or adding tabloid-style filler from earlier stories. Near the end he describes the wager on another soccer game "with the winner buying dinner." Since when does the winner of a bet pay? That's not "a mongoose inviting a cobra to supper" LOL.

They haven't been together since mid-season.
Valeria started dating someone else in February. She was last seen in DC at the end of January/ beginning of February.
As some have pointed out, the internet girlfriend, the clothing line, and the cooking gone wrong are all OLD news from articles and videos that are 3-6 years old.
The only current stuff was the soccer video games and many Caps are challenging each other with that.
The Ovechkin material that wasn't from Galiev was poorly selected, out of date filler used by a writer who clearly doesn't follow Ovechkin. If the writer knew anything then he'd know that Ovechkin has been and is highly active in the DC community through Caps charities and has invited players to stay with him before. He isn't being like Crosby, he's being himself.
The writer should have just stuck to writing about galiev.
