Russia wins the gold
After team Russia won the IIHF world championship defeating Slovakia (6:2), thousands of people went to the streets of Moscow. The Tverskaya street almost turned into a pedestrian zone where the fans with Russian flags are congratulating each other and chanting "We are the champions!". Shouldn't Ovechkin have gotten three assist instead of two?
Just before the second Semin's goal, Datsyuk stole the puck from a defenseman. It was a beautiful play, but no assist for OV.
Overall, it was more of a Semin's and Datsyuk's game.
