Ovechkin talks after Saturday morning skate

No sign of him distracted or nursing hurt feelings, on the opposite, Ovi looks calm and confident. That's how the Captain should be, right? :-)

Alex says Kovalchuk hit him in the skate with his stick and that's why he tumbled. He even talked to ref about it and ref said if he would fall immediately without trying to skate it would be 2 minutes to Kovalchuk. Oh well...

Update:
As our reader Devi pointed out it was not Kovalchuk who chopped Ovi, but # 19 Canadian born Travis Zajac...



The commentator says, "He (Ovechkin) got tripped up, this time no call", but you can see it yourself, Zajac chopped Ovi (two-handed slash, like Bobby Clarke on Kharlamov :)
